Ok, I really just wanted to know if anyone has ever had this problem before, and if so, how was it resolved? I have been trying for a week to sign up with,
www.disabledfriends.com
Half way through registration, a stupid dialogue comes up and says, microsoft internet explorer has experienced a problem and needs to close. we're sorry for the inconvenience, yeah right. if i press my escape key, it restarts internet explorer back on my home page. I tried once to arror around it with the jaws cursor, and guess what! jaws froze and I had to reboot. if I press alt tab and just leave the dialogue box up there without getting out of it, the computer freezes, and I have to do a cold reboot. I emailed the site, and the site admin told me they were having minor problems with the site, and were switching over to a new coding system, and they hoped to have it 100 percent bug free in a fe days. it's been a week and a day. I went to a new site,
www.pivconduit.com
And when i clicked on the audio tour link, I got that same dialogue I keep getting on disabledfriends, but after the second try, that dialogue didn't come back anymore. it's bound to be some sort of site problem with disabledfriends, because I was able to sign up with vipconduit with out any hassles at all. So has anyone had this problem before? My mom thought I shoulduncheck that box to restart internet explorer, but she doesn't know anymore about computers than I do, and she's never even had that problem. What would it do if I unchecked that check box that says, restart internet explorer? Thanks,

well it sounds like you would need to upgrade. As things get more advanced these days you just need to keep up to date....
well that's easier said than done. some of us just can't afford to upgrade all the time, and even when you upgrade, there are new incompatibility problems sometimes. That may be why I can't use the new version of ventrilo with vipconduit.com. but for some reason, when I use jaws 5 on the disabled friends site, I don't get that dialogue about internet explorer experiencing a problem, so I guess that may have to do with jaws 6 in some way, but I don't know what
